Considered one of Baja California’s most representative icons, the gray whale – like other marine species – is of great relevance to Energía Costa Azul, so we have supported a Marine Mammal Monitoring Program, with the cooperation of the Ensenada Center for Scientific Investigation and University Studies (CICESE) and UABC. Through this program we have installed monitoring stations during the migration seasons in order to study migration patterns and ensure that they are not affected by the construction and operation activities of our asset.
